Instructional Programs Our district stresses numeracy and literacy throughout the grade levels. With 85% of students coming from a Spanish-speaking home and 40% learning English as a second language, there is an ongoing need to stress literacy attainment as well as content knowledge.

Challenge Adams 14 is not for everyone. Our community is quickly
gentrifying and with that comes both real challenges and real opportunities. Many students still struggle with poverty and home life issues. From preschool to the secondary level, teachers work on getting two years’ growth in one year’s time. We focus on skill attainment at the elementary level and at the secondary level move to empowering students to use their skills and knowledge to pursue their passions and dreams.
