• Understand how to find the proper details and wall section and verify the correct dimensions
• Learn symbols, abbreviations, and line types to assist in reading construction prints, details, and elevation drawings
• Learn to spot conflicts and omissions in the construction plan set and how to resolve inconsistencies in the plans
• Review basic math skills for construction use: adding and subtraction of dimensions with fractions; calculations for areas and volumes for material estimating
• Gain confidence in reading construction blueprints for estimating work, build construction work, material takeoff, and checking dimensions
