ASHE Managing Infection Prevention During the Construction and
Operation of Health Care Facilities

Proactively prevent infection in health care facilities during maintenance, renovation, and construction. Earn 12.5 AHA Continuing Education Credits (CEC) - (equivalent to 12.5 contact hours toward CHC and CHFM) • Create and maintain work areas that support the facility’s infection prevention protocols in order to reduce transmission of hospital-acquired infections • Educate and train your team on infection prevention and best practices • Explain the importance of conducting an infection control risk assessment (ICRA) for every project • Explain the intent of the various compliance, regulatory standard, and guideline-setting agencies, including the Joint Commission, Facility Guidelines Institute, and Centers for Disease Control ABC or ASHE Member $995 Non-member: $1,450
