Building Healthy Teams and Organizations
Virtual Training: Mental Fitness for Leaders
Instructor: Bryce Lefever, Ph.D., True Edge Performance Solutions, LLC October 23, 30, November 6, 13 & 20, 2020 | 8:00 am – 10:00 am
SERIES PRICING: ABC Member: $650 Non-member: $865
Building Healthy Teams and Organizations! Mental Fitness rests on the philosophy that we can learn, practice and develop a set of skills that result in health as well as personal and professional success. Learn these skills now—before things go wrong. This is similar to construction practices. It is so much more economical to build something strong and lasting than it is to repair or reconstruct something that is falling apart. Gain these skills and apply to your business and leadership. Dr. Lefever developed the Mental Fitness program used by the military, including Nave SEALs, to develop leaders and enhance the decision-making skills of those who must perform at their very best under challenging circumstances.
Sessions in the Series:
An Introduction to Mental Fitness
An overview of mental fitness as it applies to the mental and emotional development of leadership. The idea of responsibility, ownership and positive cultural change will be introduced.
Responsible Leadership: Self-respect; Respect for Others; Defining Ourselves
Embracing responsibility and eliminating blame. Responsibility and accountability will be clarified as separate processes. Discover how to communicate vulnerability while maintaining healthy boundaries.
Avoidance, Anxiety and Addictions
Learn how avoidance patterns can lead to serious problems. A method will be provided on how to help your team when there is pain, conflict, trauma or a tragic event.
Responsible Communication
Learn the art of negotiation. Understand how to handle conflict and repair damaged relationships.
Living a Committed Life and Producing Excellence in the Work Environment
Understand how making and keeping commitments leads to integrity and how living a life committed to a worthy cause leads to success, spirituality and to a better world.
“After I retired from the NFL, I have run the gamut from trauma to triumph. In the last 18 years, my efforts have focused extensively on promoting and educating about mental health. I have spoken to hundreds if not thousands of groups—athletes, veterans, schools, prisons, businesses, and active duty military leaders. I use Dr. Lefever’s material—his articles, his books, his ideas and his Mental Fitness system—and nothing else. His system is comprehensive, easy to understand, and profound. Audiences are transfixed and transformed. What Dr. Lefever has to offer is indispensable for anyone who wants to succeed—professionally and personally.” – Eric Hipple, former Detroit Lion Quarterback and 2019 Finalist for “NFL Salute to Service Award”
