TEAM REPORT

2025 Summer Road Trip

Oh, the crack of the bat, the hot dogs and popcorn, the National Anthem, the 7th inning stretch, and the possibility of snagging a y ball… yes, these are some of the anticipated experiences at a ball game on a warm summer night. This year, the ALL RISE Foundation is gathering together some very special folks to join us in our 2025 Summer Road Trip.

This summer of 2025 just seemed like the best year to meet up at ballgames in each of our three regions as we build upon the relationships we have developed with our ALL RISE Mini-Grant recipients, the sponsors of our events, and partners of the Foundation.

The 2025 Road Trip plan would gather the ALL RISE Mini-Grant recipients in each region and treat them to a baseball game in hopes that the organizations will connect with each other, build relationships, and nd resources to bene t the youth in their programs. We’d have information on the Foundation, merchandise available to purchase, promote participation in the ALL RISE Summer Book Club, as well as provide an area for sel es with our ‘stand up Aaron’.

We embarked on our inaugural 2025 Summer Road Trip heading to Fresno State University’s Pete Belden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium – Aaron’s Alma Mater. Although the day was a bit drizzly, we were pleased with a great turn-out, and the collaboration and relationship building between Mini-Grant recipients from Fresno County. Our “Summer Road Trip” was off to a good start.

Our next stop was right up Highway 99 (it’s tting that Hwy 99 connects Captain 99’s High School and College Alma Maters). We made a stop at the Stockton Ports Game at Banner Island Ballpark on Saturday, July 26 and enjoyed an evening promoting the ALL RISE Book Club. The Aaron Judge “Captain” Bobbleheads – given to the rst 2,000 attendees – were a huge hit! The ALL RISE board members and marketing team welcomed our ALL RISE Mini-Grant recipients and supporters of the Foundation for a wonderful evening in Aaron’s home region.

Then off to The Bronx – our third region! ALL RISE hosted the Aaron Judge ALL RISE ProCamps for 235 very enthusiastic kids! They enjoyed an afternoon lled with learning new baseball skills, and encouragement,

inspiration and interaction from Aaron. After the camp, our President, Patty Judge, and team members enjoyed games at Yankee Stadium with some Mini-Grant recipients and Foundation supporters. Each student we came across, we encouraged them to participate in the ALL RISE Summer Book Club – open through September 3rd. The end of our Summer Road Trip will conclude in early September as we host the 9/9 for #99 auction in collaboration with YES! Network. Keep an eye out for more details on this exciting virtual auction and items available for bidding to raise funds for the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation programs.

These three regions are very important and meaningful to us because of Aaron’s life connections. They are the very heart of where we began and where we have focused our programs and initiatives. However, the ALL RISE Summer Book Club hasn’t been limited to these regions, and its popularity has expanded - reaching all across the United States and even into Canada and other countries. The thirst of engaging in a good book, and the reward of a certi cate from Aaron, has made us aware that our Mission is boundless and will continue to grow – even outside of our three regions of focus. Thank you for coming along with us. Together, let’s see where this road leads!!

Preparation Leads to Freedom

As a kid, the rst thing my parents would ask when I got home from school was, “What homework do you have?” That always came rst. Once I knocked out my reading, math, or writing, I was free—free to re up video games or run outside to play with my friends. Finishing the work rst led to a sense of freedom that came with being done with my responsibilities.

The last day of school was always a swirl of emotions. I was pumped for summer break, but also proud of the year’s hard work and everything I’d learned that year.

During the summer, I still had responsibilities. I’d mow the lawn or help my parents with yard work and chores around the house. Working side by side with them taught me what it takes to keep a household running. Of course, after the chores were done, that same sense of freedom came—when I could run out the door to meet up with friends or play baseball.

Now, when I show up at the eld, I still have a list of things that need to get done—my homework. I lift, review video of the starting pitcher, hit in the cages, check my equipment, and craft my game plan for the plate. In the cage, I imagine the different game scenarios that I might face at the plate, so I can relax my swing in the real-life moment.

And when the list is done? That same feeling of freedom hits. The work is complete. I can line up for the National Anthem, ready to play. I’m prepared. I know the plan. All that’s left is to go out and execute.

With ALL RISE, my mother and I laid the groundwork while I was in the Minor Leagues. We knew what we wanted the foundation to accomplish, and we did our homework on all the ways to reach that goal. Now, as the foundation enters its sixth year, we have developed the programs, created the game plan, and—with your help—ALL RISE is stepping up to the plate to support the youth in our community.

I hope you are visiting our website, following us on social media, and sharing our messages. Just like on a baseball eld, it takes a team to win for our youth.

Help Youth Rise by Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders

Since 2019, the ALL RISE Mini-Grant program has supported organizations that provide activities, guidance, mentorship and leadership skills for our youth. Three times per year, we review applications from our three regions and select community-based organizations that are dedicated to empowering youth and fostering opportunities that align with the ALL RISE Mission and Comprehensive Components (see page 2 for the full list).

Private and corporate funding for an ALL RISE Mini-Grant is a great way to support a youth-focused

organization, as well as a terri c opportunity to engage with the ALL RISE Foundation. You may choose your region of interest: Bronx, New York; San Joaquin County, California; or Fresno County, California.

A $3,000 donation will support one ALL RISE Mini-Grant and gives you recognition in the newsletter at time of announcement and on the website.

If you are interested in funding an ALL RISE Mini-Grant or would like further information, please call (209) 915-4550.

RISING UP Congratulations to our May 2025 Mini-Grant Recipients

HOMEMORE PROJECT

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

The Homemore Project uplifts the homeless community by providing realistic, yet innovative solutions to an ongoing crisis. They designed the Makeshift Traveler, a backpack to help someone experiencing homelessness. It features a solar panel with a battery pack and USB charging port, a sleeping bag, poncho, radio, ashlight, a brochure for social services, to name a few. This aligns with ALL RISE by empowering unhoused youth with resources that support their well-being. The Makeshift Traveler ensures unhoused youth are equipped to stay connected with family and services that support their well-being.

THE ANGELLYH YAMBO FOUNDATION

BRONX, NEW YORK

The Angellyh Yambo Foundation is committed to fostering community development to assist victims of gun violence by educating the public through awareness, youth education programs and prevention strategies. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will help support the Community Mapping Program, working with high school students to explore their neighborhoods through mapping exercises and identifying key challenges such as litter, neglected public spaces, and safety concerns. The program culminates in student-led community action projects that support community change. Students gain con dence, leadership experience and engage with civic leaders to address local issues. Students are provided a pipeline to explore professions such as urban planning, data science, and community development.

POVERELLO HOUSE

FRESNO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

A community leader, Proverello House provides innovative shelter programs for people experiencing homelessness. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will help provide enrichment workshops for children that focus on science, arts, reading, teamwork, and basic life skills. Many of these workshops are led by trained volunteers, including college students, retired teachers, and AmeriCorps fellows. Poverello House will recruit and train volunteers to assist with youth programming through hands-on service, helping to supervise activities, model positive behavior, and provide mentoring. In addition, the funding will provide basic materials and supplies for activities such as art kits, books, learning games, sports equipment, and healthy snacks for children ages 5–14 who are often impacted by generational poverty, food insecurity, and trauma.

P.S. 58 - THE SCHOOL OF HEROES

BRONX, NEW YORK

The Mission of P.S. 58 - The School of Heroes is to empower students to strive for excellence and achieve their fullest potential. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will provide funding for the “Building Future Heroes Through Baseball” after-school program that integrates leadership development with baseball fundamentals. It would also assist in the purchasing of bats, gloves, balls and bases. This would give students an opportunity to use baseball equipment, learn fundamentals of the game, have their creativity sparked and develop an interest in our growing diverse community. Staff members would be trained to engage and develop leadership curriculum, and also provide coaching sessions to engage students in learning experiences.

All funds donated for the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Mini-Grant Program go directly to children and youth programs in San Joaquin County, California; Fresno County, California; and Bronx County, New York, that support ongoing citizenship and education development.

Sharing the ALL RISE Experience

Following our virtual author visits, we received a letter from Cynthia Amerman Adams. Her 2nd grade students at Foulks Ranch Elementary School in Elk Grove participated in the 2024 ALL RISE Book Club and an ALL RISE Virtual Author Visit with author Matt de la Pena.

These second graders are enthusiastic about their new books!

Dear Mrs. Judge and All RISE Foundation,

When my dad told me about the ALL RISE Foundation and its focus, I went online to check it out. I was excited to find a way for my students to participate in the ALL RISE Summer Book Club.

I am passionate and driven about providing reading incentives in my classroom each year. When I told my students about Aaron, and my dad being Aaron’s coach, they were excited to participate in the ALL RISE Book Club. The students were thrilled to receive their certificates and stickers.

Then to top it off, you can only imagine how excited they were when they found out the ALL RISE Foundation chose our classroom to have a virtual visit from author Matt de la Pena. What a beautiful story Matt shared. Several of them were happy, as well as shocked to hear that Matt didn't always have the best grades. The students were so thankful for the experience and the books the Foundation gave each student, as many don't have books in their home. These were appreciated and will be cherished by the students and the parents. Truly, I can't thank you and the ALL RISE Foundation enough for the hour we were able to spend with you and Matt.

Literacy has been my life's work. I am so very thankful for the lives that were changed today. I had to fight back tears at the end of the virtual author visit. You truly made a difference in so many lives today, including mine. Thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Fondly, Cynthia Adams

Chew Big. Dream Bigger.

Our Captain is the rst Major League Baseball player ever featured on a Big League Chew pouch in a homerun collaboration between the shredded bubble gum maker and the All-Star slugger’s Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation. The foundation will be prominently featured on the packaging in an effort to bring purpose to the pouch. A portion of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to the foundation to support its work with underserved populations and youth. The limited-edition pouch, featuring fan-favorite avor Grand Slam Grape, will soon be available online at bigleaguechew.com, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Costco and other select national retailers.

“Big League Chew has always been more than gum—it’s a part of the game. I chewed it as a kid, and now being on the pouch is surreal. It’s a full-circle moment and an honor,” said Aaron Judge. “Even more meaningful is using this platform to support the work we’re doing through the ALL RISE Foundation. This will have a direct impact on helping us grow our programs and initiatives.” Judge continued, “It will allow us to give more support through our Mini-Grants to organizations that help young people reach their unlimited potential.”

Aaron’s Hometown Cherry Festival

Celebrating the very best cherries in the world – we might be a bit biased – the annual Linden Cherry Festival was held in May! The ALL RISE Foundation booth was enthusiastically staffed by ten Linden High School student leaders, our ALL RISE Board Member Carol Derksen, and her sons Ryan and David. Festival attendees stopped by for pictures with our ‘stand-up’ Aaron, played Plinko, won goodies, and received information on leadership in the classroom and the ALL RISE Summer Book Club.

snapshots in the photo booth, and picked up trendy and fashionable ALL RISE merch! The Captain Aaron Judge bobbleheads were given to the rst 2,000 attendees and were a grand slam! The highlight of the evening was hosting the ALL RISE Mini-Grant recipients from San Joaquin County, along with local sponsors of the Foundation. A huge thank you to the Stockton Ports, our supporters, and Mini-Grant recipients for making this evening so enjoyable!
