Welcome to My Little World Offered by: My Little World Preschool & Childcare
I
would like to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Kim Jandro, owner of “My” Little World Preschool & Childcare and you can find us at 130 S. Main St. I opened my business along with my two daughters, Jessica and Nicole in May of 2011. They brought years 303-655-9102 of experience in Early Childhood Education before starting our own childcare center. We serve families with children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We opened this center with the passion to give the best care to children when they are away from their parents. Our center offers curriculum for all ages also working with 3 and 4-year olds getting them ready for Kindergarten. They enter Kindergarten knowing all their sight words, how to write, and even some reading. We did not want to be just like every other childcare center out there, so we strive to offer so much more. After a couple of years, we signed up with Colorado Shines, and they help with educating and improving what we offer our families. Colorado Shines rates each classroom and teacher which helps us give the best to our children and provides funding for our school which helps with new materials. Our first rating was a 2 star but this past year we earned a 3 star. We have grown and learned so many things with every family we have crossed paths with and enjoyed every bit of it. I know that times are trying right now during the pandemic. We have remained open for all our families never having to close. We wanted to make sure our families had a place to bring their children while working to support their own family. Being open during these times ensured their child had normalcy in their life. We take 6 weeks to 12 years old with many options for enrollment, full or part time care, before or after school or both. During breaks we offer fieldtrips to many various places to keep our PreK to School-agers busy and their minds active. We take cash or credit cards. We are part of the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) which helps with tuition. There are other types of funding that can help with childcare cost like United Way or Grants.
