Lighting Design for your Medical Aesthetics Practice: When designing lighting for a medical aesthetic practice, prioritize both decorative and functional aspects to create a harmonious and practical space. For visual impact, start with a statement chandelier or cluster of pendants in reception and waiting rooms.

Indirect, architectural wall-wash or ceiling lighting will elevate a space to a “next level” design. It is necessary to incorporate LED panels or recessed lights with dimming capabilities for overall ambient lighting, especially in treatment rooms. Overhead task lighting in these same rooms will provide for precise illumination during procedures. Be sure to add adequate lighting around mirrors and workstations. Balancing aesthetics and functionality will enhance the overall experience for both patients and staff, creating a professional and inviting atmosphere.
