Our Commitment to Sustainability

ZO® Skin Health continues to make every effort to support the research and development of innovative skin health solutions, methods and materials whenever possible. Our aim is to remain a responsible, trusted leader and partner in the medical skincare industry.

Since the beginning of 2022, we have fully committed ourselves to exploring the path to sustainability. Through a comprehensive evaluation of our business practices, including packaging materials and daily operations, we have identified viable opportunities to minimize ZO’s environmental impact. Our commitment lies in creating a sustainable future without compromising the high-quality standards that you and your patients expect and deserve.

Our Progress Year-To-Date

Our commitment to sustainable packaging began with our range of Getting Skin Ready® products, which we have begun transitioning to packaging designed for recyclability + implemented new sustainable packaging materials. Our family of GSR® cleansers now feature a recyclable tube made with 50% post-consumer recycled content and a recyclable cap.

Next in the GSR® category of products to incorporate sustainable packaging are Dual Action Scrub, Calming Toner, Complexion Renewal Pads + Oil Control Pads.

Outlook

We are working diligently with our external partners to complete our transition, where possible, to sustainable packaging by the end of 2025.

Office Design Tip of the Month

When accessorizing your medical aesthetic practice, I recommend a “less is more” approach. Focus on simplicity, functionality, and minimalism. Start by decluttering the space and removing any unnecessary objects or décor. Incorporate natural materials such as wood or stone to add warmth and texture. Limit your decorative furniture to only the essentials and opt for clean lines and simple shapes. Finally, add a few carefully selected decorative items, such as a statement piece of art or an oversized vase. This will bring interest to the space without overwhelming.
