Iain is responsible for managing and submitting all the tender opportunities that Derwent fm pursue. This includes bid/no bid decisions, completion of Selection Questionnaires and Invitation To Tender and the review process. His role entails him being the single point of contact throughout the tender process providing our clients with a consistent touchpoint throughout. Iain joined our team in October 2020 having previously worked in the Banking, Civil Nuclear, Construction and Ministry of Defence industries and brings a wide range of knowledge to our business.

Nigel’s career to date has spanned both the public and private sectors, allowing him to gain varied and excellent knowledge of all aspects of facilities management. He is currently the Director of Estates and facilities the University of Suffolk. Nigel was previouly the head of operations for the FCCO leading teams that manage portfolios across 30 countries and 20 currencies, including Europe, Russia, India, China, Japan, South East Asia, and Australasia. He lived in Singapore for nine years before returning to the UK in 2019. He has also been proud to act as an IWFM lead for World FM Day, representing IWFM on the global task force for the last four years. He was recently appointed to the board of Global FM. He is also a parish councillor as well as a Suffolk FA Disciplinary Commissioner.
