Can You Handle The Truth?

It's absolutely necessary for you to understand what happened in the garden"IN THE BEGINNING" inorder to understand what in happening today, and what has happened from the time Adams death until now. You also need to understand what happened in the garden to understand why Jesus had to come, as well as how he had to enter the world. In Genesis 2:17 God said, "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." I want you to understand the difference between what God said

and what most people say. God said," you shall surely die." Man has change the word DIE and added FALL, and that is a serious error, because man did not FALL. He DIED spiritually. In Isaiah 14:12 we read, "How art thou fallen from heaven O Lucifer son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground which didst weaken the nations." We read in Luke 10:18," and he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lighting fall from heaven." Satan was an angel who could not die, but because of his ambitions, he FELL from heaven. Adam was a spiritual being who because of his disobedience sinned. The result of that SIN caused Adam to die spiritually. The result of

Adam's spiritual death meant that man was separated from God. Man is a spirit, he has a soul, and he lives in a body. We know that when Adam sinned this was spiritual death, or separation from God, this was immediate. We also know that when Adam sinned, he began the process of his physical death. Although Adam lived to be 930 years old(Genesis 5:5), we know that it was a short physical life in Gods eyes because in Gods eyes, a thousand years is as 1 day.(2 Peter 3:8) And no man has ever lived passed a day (1000 years) in Gods eyes.(1 day with God) Methuselah is the only man that come close to living a day(1000 years).

But he died at the age of 969, missing a day by 31 years. confirming Gods word in Genesis 2:17. Few people realize that there is a third death which is eternal separation from god. 2 Thessalonians 1:89 "in flaming fire taking veneance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power," Matthew 25:41 & 46, "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, "Depart from me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels." And these will go away into

everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." In order for man to be reconnected to God the penalty for Adams sin had to be paid. That's why Jesus had to come. So that man could be spiritually reconnected to God. John 3:3 "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Because man's flesh was made sinful by Adam, Jesus had to come through the seed of the woman. WHY THE SEED OF THE WOMAN? To be continued! Come join us at 580 E. 6th Street Pomona, CA 92336

Nahum Anzora Lopez's Story By Nahum Anzora Lopez

Hi, my name is Brother Nahum Anzora Lopez. I was born in El Salvador in 1979. I was raised without a father. A single mother had to raise four children two girls and two boys. I believe that it was very hard for her because of the economy in my country and being single. She, by the grace of God, did her best and tried to give us

the best. She was the best mother in the world. My father left the family because he wanted a better life for himself and the family as well. He came to the United States and found a better way of life, opportunities, and success. Then, he started helping the family and decided to bring my brother and me to the United States. At that time there was a war going on in my

country, and my father didn’t want his two sons to go through pain and suffering. He got our legal documents in order to come to the United States to have a better life. My father went to El Salvador in 1992. I was 12 years old, and that’s when I met my father for the first time. I was happy to be able to meet my father because I never had a father figure growing up. Two years after, my mother passed away.

It was really hard for me, and that’s when my life became out of control. I started drinking alcohol when I was 14 years old and started using drugs when I was 15 years old. I started hanging around with the wrong people, started having more resentment toward my father, and I left his house. I became very irresponsible about laws and my future. I started going to

prison when I was 18 years old. I am 33 years old and I finished serving six years in prison. When I was in my cell, I started reflecting on my whole life and all the years that I’d spent away from my family and the people that loved me. I became a Christian two years ago after my release, and God started changing my mentality. I’m very grateful to God for changing my life completely. When I got released from prison, I didn’t have a place to live and my parole agent took me to a treatment facility called American Recovery Center in the city of Pomona. I didn’t like it at first but that was God’s plan for me. I completed a 90 day program and while I was at the recovery center, I was introduced to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in the city of Pomona. I felt the spirit of God and love there. I became a member and was baptised. At the church, a Scripture is read in English and in Spanish each Sunday, and I enjoy reading the English/Spanish Word in front of the congregation. Now, I’m living in a sober living facility and God has been providing all my needs. My relationship with my father has been restored, and the relationship with my daughters is getting better. God is doing everything, and this time I’m staying faithful to Him; I am not going to fail. It’s been five months since being out of prison, and I’ll be staying in sober living until May. I have a lot of goals that I want to accomplish. The most important is to provide for my daughters. I am blessed to have my freedom, health, and most importantly Jesus Christ who has set me free. The Word of God says in Luke 12:31, “But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.” It also says in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” God Bless You.
