A dope way to get started is by heading to your local thrift store, picking out some patterns you like via old tees, sheets, dresses or anything else you might find on your trip, and attaching various patterns to a pair of old jeans or adding pockets to a solid button-down you haven’t worn in a few years. Once you get more comfortable, use these thrifted patterns to create full-on shirts, bucket hats, ties and pants. You’ll be dripping in style. Archery has a long and storied history, and modern compound bows pack incredible power (this is not a sport to take up lightly!). Archery is a beautiful intersection of focus, technology and exercise (it’s a serious back workout, too), and very addicting once you get the hang of it. Remember: while archery is one of the best hobbies for men and women, you can hurt yourself or others if you don’t practice this sport responsibly.

In most cases its not the child’s fault that mommy and daddy can’t get alone that's if your married or not. A child loves both of their parents and believe it or not, a child doesn’t want to hear all of what's going on between their father and mother. Yes, it’s very hard not to say negative things about each other, but in the end, you will be a better parent and evidently feel better. Kids today have enough problems facing them because of the times we’re living in today. Some even feel that they are the problem. In most cases it takes two to tango which I am saying sometimes its more than one in the relationship with negative connotations. I thought I might help someone by writing my feeling on this issue. Sometimes it takes the bigger person to come up with a way to think about the children first.

By Contributor Writer When you look at your skin, do you notice any patches that are darker than the rest of your body? If so, you have hyperpigmentation, a common skin condition that’s usually not harmful. Hyperpigmentation can happen when extra pigment called melanin deposits in your skin. People of any age, sex, or race can experience hyperpigmentation. It’s most commonly caused by: sun exposure; medications such as chemotherapy drugs; pregnancy; acne; hormone disorders. While there are many products on the market that may treat hyperpigmentation, if you’re looking for a natural way to lighten these spots, you may want to consider aloe vera. Aloe vera has been found to have many health benefits for the skin, from helping to heal wounds to moisturizing. There’s a small amount of scientific evidence suggesting that applying aloe vera to your skin may help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmented areas, though it won’t completely get rid of these darker spots. Per the limited number of existing studies, certain chemicals in aloe vera may have skin-lightening properties. These chemicals are called aloin and aloesin. They may reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation by destroying existing melanin cells and preventing further formation of melanin in the skin. In a study on cells Trusted Source, scientists found that aloesin prevented hyperpigmented laboratory-produced human skin from producing more melanin. Scientists have also studied the effects of aloesin in preventing hyperpigmentation in people. UV radiation or sunlight is a major cause of hyperpigmentation. You can use aloe vera straight from the plant, or you can purchase aloe vera as a gel in your local drugstore or health food store. Aloe vera gel is a thick and sticky liquid inside the pointed leaves of the plant. To get to the gel inside a plant: Find a mature plant that’s several years old. Older plants may contain higher levels of aloin and aloesin. Remove a few thick leaves from the outer part of the plant, using scissors and cutting them near the stem, next to the base of the plant. Make sure these leaves do not show signs of mold or damage. They should be green and smooth, with consistent coloration. Wash and dry the leaves you cut. Cut off the prickly parts on the edges of the leaves. Use a knife or your fingers to scrape the inside gel off of the thin outside leaf. This gel is what you’ll apply to your skin. Cut the gel into slices or cubes for storage in the fridge. Take out and use as needed. Rub a thin layer on the hyperpigmented area of skin you’d like to treat up to several times a day. While there’s no established dose for aloe vera, studies suggest this is an effective and safe dose for aloe Aloe vera gel from the plant and gel from a drugstore are considered safe for most healthy people to apply directly to their skin. However, note that aloe vera may not completely reduce the appearance of dark spots. It’s also possible to be allergic to it. If a rash develops or your skin is irritated, discontinue use. Before using aloe Vera plant or aloe vera gel consult your personal physician. There is other natural options when it comes to treating your hyperpigmentation at home. Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, which research Trusted Source suggests can lighten dark spots on the skin. You can mix apple cider vinegar with an equal amount of water and apply to dark patches on your skin for a few minutes before rinsing off with warm water. You can apply this solution to your skin up to 2 times a day. In research Trusted Source, vitamin C cream has been found effective at reducing hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure when applied 5 days a week for 7 weeks. Most pennies are worth 1 cent, but to coin collectors, some are worth more than their weight in gold. Earlier this year, an ordinary looking penny made headlines when it was found among the possessions of a man named Don Lutes. The 1943 bronze Lincoln cent attracted nearly 30 bids and sold for $204,000 according to Heritage Auctions, the organization that conducted the sale. “The then 16-year-old Lutes received the copper-colored penny in change at his high school cafeteria in 1947. Lutes owned the coin until his death in 2018. In failing health, he consigned it to Heritage. Proceeds of the sale went to the Berkshire Athenaeum in his hometown of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, according to the Dallas-based auction house. One-cent coins have been around since the beginning of the U.S. monetary system. “Several prototypes for the cent were produced in 1792, including the large Birch cent.” The finest known 1792 Birch cent sold at a Heritage auction in 2015 for nearly $2.6 million, making it the most ever paid for a one-cent piece at auction. A penny’s worth depends on its quality and rarity. While most pennies are only worth a few bucks, highly coveted ones might be sitting in your pocket or stuck somewhere in your couch cushions. The odds are long, but they’re still well worth searching for. So, before you say, “Keep the change,” check to see if you have any valuable pennies: Only a handful of these bronze pennies have been discovered, including the one found by Lutes. “The most valuable Lincoln cent sold privately in 2010 for $1.7 million. In order to preserve copper for the war effort, the U.S. Mint switched to making pennies from zinc-coated steel planchets, instead of the usual bronze coin blanks. At least, that’s what was supposed to happen. As fate would have it, “some of the old bronze planchets got stuck in the big tote bins that the Mint used to feed the coin presses at the end of 1942. “The few bronze coins that were struck went unnoticed and got released into
circulation.” Today, the 1943 bronze Lincoln cent is described as “the most famous error coin in American numismatics” and the odds of finding one are astronomically against. It’s estimated that 15 to 20 are known to collectors today, although it’s possible that there are a few that have not yet been accounted for. “A nice circulated example, like Lutes’ coin, could sell for around $150,000 to $200,000. Due to its value, some counterfeits were created with steel cores. If you think you’ve found a 1943 Bronze Lincoln, the Mint suggests testing it with a magnet first. If it sticks, it’s not copper. Doubled dies are created when the hub imprints an additional image onto a die or stamp causing some misalignment. The doubling occurs from mistakes in the minting process. The doubling on the 1969-S Doubled Die Obverse is especially prominent in the words “LIBERTY” and “IN A GOD WE TRUST.” (Collectors refer to the obverse of a coin as the front or “heads” side usually bearing a portrait.) Also, look for the letter “S” right below the year 1969, which means it was created at the San Francisco Mint. It is estimated that 1,000 or less were made before the Mint discovered its error. A coin in good condition could go for about $75,000. Last year, one sold for $35,000, according to Coin World, a popular news and analysis website for collectors. Similar to the 1969 Doubled Die, the doubling on this penny is especially prominent in the words “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST” with some light doubling on the date. It’s estimated that at least 250,000 coins released with the doubled die. It was said that a couple of people found these in their pocket change.” XA used one of these might be worth about $100, while a cleaner one could go for $500.
