NARRATIVE PROGRAMMING

EXPLORE AND INVENT A SUITABLE OFF

Grid Home includes a subsystem that makes the space livable. Students are required to propose a conceptual design with key features of self-sustaining and energy efficient that can be deployable anywhere around the world which is then to be developed into a “narrative program”. Fundamental to the development of the brief is an understanding of the relationship between the conceptual approach that you have begun to explore and the functional purpose of your proposals. A compilation of research outcomes, findings, and analysis, in the form of 2D (partial 3D) ‘Narrative Programming’ that shows activity, priority, flexibility, system, approach, process, color, texture, material, style, concept, identity, and elements that will be used on the overall design approach.

MODELING

TASK 2A : Constructing a Comprehensive Physical Model of the REKASCAPE Building (Group)

In task 2a, the objective is to develop a robust and accurate physical model of the REKASCAPE Building according to our chosen zone given. The model will be crafted at a scale of 1:100, utilizing durable materials that are suitable for the purpose. It is essential that all components of the building are designed to be openable, allowing for a thorough exploration and appreciation of the Interior space within the model.

TASK 2B : BUILD A BESPOKE MODEL

For task 2B, each student required to build a bespoke model by using a suitable scale.

Designing an Innovative workspace for community and collaboration

In this task, students will individually create a captivating workspace that encourages a strong sense of community and fosters collaboration. With technology constantly shaping our work experiences. it is crucial to prioritize human interaction and collaboration in the workplace. The future of office design will involve integrating indoor and outdoor space and repurposing underutilized areas. By reimagining workspace design, students have the opportunity to craft an engaging and revitalized environment that enhances growth, collaboration, and productivity.

PROBLEM STATEMENT PROBLEM STATEMENT PROBLEM STATEMENT

FOR THIS SEMESTER, OUR BUILDING IS LOCATED IN REKASCAPE, CYBER JAYA. MY CHOSEN THEME IS THE GYM AND NIKE COMPANY, HERE IS CALLED S.YGYM, WHICH ALSO INCLUDES A HEALTHY FOOD RESTAURANT, OFFICES, YOGA CLASS, CLIMBING WALL AND SO ON. AMONG THEM, GYMS CAN TARGET DISABLED ATHLETES, AND MANY GYMS IN MALAYSIA MAY NOT BE DESIGNED FOR DISABLED PEOPLE. LIKE MANY PARALYMPIANS AROUND THE WORLD, MALAYSIAN PARALYMPIANS MAY FACE MANY CHALLENGES WHEN USING FITNESS FACILITIES, SUCH AS HARD-TO-USE FITNESS FACILITIES IN REGULAR GYMS. THIS CAN MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR PARALYMPIANS TO ACCESS AND USE FITNESS EQUIPMENT SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY. THE REASON WHY I CHOSE THE DISABLED GYM IS THAT IT HAS MANY BENEFITS FOR THEIR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE IMPROVEMENT IN STRENGTH AND HEALTH, OR FOR THEIR MENTAL HEALTH, IS A BIG IMPROVEMENT.

THE CONTENT OF THE COMPANY IS NIKE CUSTOMIZED SHOES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES - ZOOM SOLDIER 8, PEOPLE CAN NOT ONLY SEE THE PRODUCTION PROCESS OF THEIR SHOES HERE, BUT ALSO PERSONAL PRODUCTION OR PRIVATE CUSTOMIZATION OF THEIR SHOES HERE, SUCH AS COLOR, SHAPE, ETC., WHICH WILL GREATLY IMPROVE THE HAPPINESS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

From here, people can choose the services they need and record people's physical conditions and glorious moments. Two frequency screens are designed for each angle here, so that it will be convenient for people in wheelchairs, crutches or ordinary people

REFLECTION

This design journey has not only impacted my career goals and my technical ability, but it has shaped my career aspirations but also transformed me as an individual. I'm astounded at how much creatively I've evolved. The finest part was the hands-on projects. Working with peers taught me the importance of teamwork and constructive feedback.

Moreover,I wanna say thank you for my lectures, Ms.Fatimah, Ms. Yasmin and Ms. Chelsea, I am glad for the opportunity to be a part of this creative discovery, and I eagerly anticipate the endless adventures that lie ahead for me on the horizon of interior and architecture design.
