Justin Rominger, Chair - I grew up on the family farm in Winters. We farm about 10 different crops, mainly focusing on tomatoes,

rice, and in recent years, almonds and walnuts. After high school I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Business in 2013. Shortly after graduation I moved to Chico and accepted a Grower Service Manager position with Diamond Foods. I lived in Chico for 3 years (joined Butte County YF&R), and about a year ago moved back to Winters. I currently still work for Diamond Foods, but have started helping out on the family farm when I have spare time. I enjoy the outdoors, hunting, motorcycle riding and snowmobiling. I am excited about the opportunity to become more active in YF&R. I hope my experience can bring something to the table, but am more excited about learning all I can from Farm Bureau and YF&R.

Eric Willson, Vice Chair - I grew up in northern Mendocino County where I hobby farmed hay, sheep, and apples on 60 acres. I

attended UC Davis and earned a degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems with an emphasis in Agriculture and Ecology. Since graduating I have been farming for Rominger Brothers Farms in Winters. Continued on Back Page

Message from P G & E With the snow pack melting and possible flooding in the valley, it would be a good time to remind farmers who have pumps in flood prone areas to consider pulling the pumps now instead of when there is an actual emergency due to impending flood. If PG&E is called out to remove a service because of rising water on an emergency basis, we may not be able to get there…. because of emergencies PG&E may be facing with our own facilities.
