Buyer’s Luncheon, Livestock & Ag Mechanics Auction Saturday August 17, 2019 See back page for more information PARAQUAT NEW CERTIFIED APPLICATOR TRAINING Newly labelled paraquat-containing products are expected to be available in 2019. Due to cases of accidental ingestion (some fatal) as well as eye and dermal exposure, USEPA requires certified applicators using these newly labeled products to complete USEPAapproved training every three years. Training is available online and is expected to take about 45 minutes. https://www.epa.gov/pesticide-worker-safety/ paraquat-dichloride-training-certified-applicators After completing the above online training, you and/or your employees then get an Applicator License from the Yolo County Ag Department by attending their 1 hour class and passing a test. Continuing Education class units are required to keep this license active. July 2019
