“I joined Yayasan Sabah Group (YSG) in December 1988. The best aspects of working with YSG are gaining extensive knowledge and skills across multiple disciplines, being exposed to different working environments, meeting many people and having the opportunities to collaborate with international partners on many projects.

The most challenging aspects of working with YSG are handling various activities simultaneously and thinking outside the box to sustain the company, given the limited resources.

In retirement, I will continue to provide advice and support to those who need my contributions in the relevant fields. I will miss visiting the regional offices and operation sites besides meeting with staff and other potential investors. Also, to spend more quality time with family members.

The most memorable moments working with YSG were when I was appointed as the Group Manager of the Forestry Division, to lead a division dominated by male predecessors and endured a lot of internal and external stress at work.

My advice for all staff/Management of YSG is to be more action-oriented, be prepared for changes and face new challenges.”

Naib

Kumpulan Yayasan Sabah berjaya mendapat naib johan dalam acara perbarisan sempena Istiadat Hari Jadi Rasmi ke-69 Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah.

Acara yang diadakan di Padang Merdeka Kota Kinabalu pada 1 Oktober 2022 ini diserikan dengan kehadiran Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Haji Juhar bin Datuk Haji Mahiruddin, Toh Puan Datuk Seri Panglima Hajah Norlidah binti Tan Sri Datuk R.M Jasni, Ketua Menteri Sabah Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji bin Haji Noor, barisan kepimpinan negeri dan ribuan orang awam.
