INNOPRISE SYNERGY SDN. BHD. & KERAP HIJAU SDN. BHD. inks joint venture agreement with CM ITINERARY SDN. BHD.

Innoprise Synergy Sdn. Bhd. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yayasan Sabah Group and Kerap Hijau Sdn. Bhd. has entered into a joint venture and shareholders’ agreement with CM Creative Itinerary Sdn. Bhd. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Capital G Berhad to jointly develop mini-hydropower projects in Sabah.

Signing on behalf of Innoprise Synergy Sdn. Bhd and Kerap Hijau Sdn. Bhd. were its Director, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Pandikar Amin Haji Mulia and company secretary, Encik Waky Taim. Meanwhile, signing on behalf of CM Creative Itinerary Sdn. Bhd. were its Directors, Encik Zulkepli Mishat and Encik Dzulkifly Abdul Khalid. The Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji bin Haji Noor witnessed the signing ceremony.

Through the joint venture, both Innoprise Synergy Sdn. Bhd. and Kerap Hijau Sdn. Bhd. had agreed to collectively pool their resources to raise funds of not less than RM3 billion for developing the first 200 megawatts of mini-hydropower projects.

The joint venture is envisaged to fuel the transformation of Green Sabah under the Sabah Maju Jaya vision. Five hydropower schemes have been identified with an estimated capacity of 65.3 megawatts. The five hydropower schemes are Sg Bayoyo (Sg. Bunsit) hydropower scheme, Sg. Rayoh hydropower scheme, Sg. Mokodou hydropower scheme, Sg. Wariu hydropower scheme and Sg. Panataran (Sg. Melangkap) hydropower scheme.

Also present were the State Secretary of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima Sr. Haji Sapar Untong, State Attorney General, Datuk Nor Asiah binti Mohd Yusof, Director of Yayasan Sabah cum Executive Chairman of ICSB, Dato’ Sri Haji Ghulamhaidar @ Yusof bin Khan Bahadar, Executive Director of G Capital Berhad, Datuk Yap Yee Ping, Chairman of Qhazanah Sabah Sdn. Bhd, Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Mohd. Salleh bin Tun Said Keruak and Chairman of POIC Sabah Sdn. Bhd., Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee.
