November 2020 Update
2019 – Progress In Bible Translation Work
Dear Friends and Family, One of the things we have learned in life is that there are no closed doors to the Gospel. That is true in times of war as well as in times of pandemics. While the work at times has to take on different forms and speed, yet nothing can prevent what Christ said in Matthew 16:18b, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Despite the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, progress continues to be made in Bible translation work. New work is starting and work underway is finishing. The numbers of complete Bibles finished is increasing as are New Testaments and Scripture portions.

Work looks different today than it did a year ago as much of the work now happens by ZOOM or other electronic means. Thankfully, the internet now reaches some of the most remote places on earth and with these tools work can carry on. We praise the Lord for tools He has given to speed his Word!
Progress, however, is not just numbers, but also people. In April 2019, we introduced you to Jesse and Erin Atkinson. Jesse was a student at the Reformation Bible College where Chuck recruits and we helped him join Wycliffe. He met Erin, a Wycliffe member at a linguistic school as they were preparing for Bible translation work.
