Pittwater is proud to announce that we are a stockist partner with Escabags, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting individuals escaping domestic violence situations. As a stockist partner, we now offer Escape Bags, which are available for free to those in need. Each Escape Bag contains essential daily items, reflecting an understanding of the importance of feeling comforted and supported during a crisis. The bags are not gender-specific and come in two variations: ‘Parent and Child’ and ‘Single Adult,’ allowing us to cater to all victims of abuse. These bags are discreetly available at Pittwater RSL, providing a vital lifeline to anyone seeking a safe and supportive way out of a harmful situation.

Additionally, Pittwater RSL is gearing up to support RUOK Day, an important initiative focused on promoting mental health and suicide prevention. Each year, our staff actively participate, raising awareness and encouraging meaningful conversations. With RUOK Day approaching, we’re reminded of the power of simply asking, “Are you okay?” to offer support and potentially save lives. At Pittwater RSL, fostering a caring and connected community is at the heart of what we do, and RUOK Day is a key part of this commitment.

Community Excellence Program to recognise volunteer service Quarter 2 Winners 2024
Pittwater RSL is proud to announce the winners of the Quarter Two 'Pittwater Community Excellence Program', recognising the outstanding work of volunteers in our community clubs. This program is dedicated to acknowledging the efforts of volunteers who work diligently with grassroots sporting organisations that we support. The program aims to develop strong relationships with our volunteers and recognise their hard work and dedication. Pittwater RSL All Inclusive Classic
The 2024 Pittwater RSL Inclusive Classic commenced early on Saturday, 1st June, at Mona Vale Beach, under gloomy skies. However, the spirit of the community was not dampened. The brave members of Mona Vale Boardriders and Northern Beaches Para Surfer Boardriders, along with their supporters, hit the waves and managed to get through all heats and most of the semis of the day's competition rounds. On the sand, competitors found comfort in ice baths and were treated to relieving massages by the talented team from Northern Beaches Rehabilitation. Despite Mother Nature having the final say after the Women's semi, with the wind picking up, the competition was regretfully called to a close. The crew moved to higher ground for an afternoon session at the Pittwater RSL Club, where the much-anticipated raffle prizes were drawn and other prizes auctioned, fostering a sense of community and unity.
The remaining semi-finals and finals of the surf comp have been rescheduled for later in the year, but despite the interruption, the day proved a huge success in terms of fundraising for both local clubs.
