Out-of-school youths graduate from TESDA courses World Vision, together with the Embassy of Czech Republic in Manila, launched the “Bridge to Employment Project” BASECO. This one-year project supports 50 students under the Alternative Learning System Program of the Department of Education, and 30 more who are enrolled in technical-vocational-livelihood programs of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). In January, eight out-of-school youths graduated in Contact Center Services NC II training with TESDA. TDCX supports World Vision’s Abutin Na10 Campaign In celebration of their 25th anniversary, TDCX (PH) Inc. donated 25 tablets to the Abutin Na10 campaign implemented in Malabon City. Abutin Na10 is an awareness and fundraising campaign, which aims to support the Department of Education’s Learning Continuity Plan (LCP) for students nationwide. Resources raised through this campaign will fund the 1) printing of self-learning materials and 2) procurement of learning gadgets in support to LCP’s distance learning and home schooling modalities. Given the tablets, the teachers accepted the challenge to continually innovate solutions, and adapt to the new modes of learning. They admit that it was really challenging for the students due to the lack of resources.
