CHURCH AND SCHOOL ENGAGEMENT

World Vision launches The Open Generation Philippine Report

A total of 600 church and ministry leaders attended the Open Generation Philippine Report Launch on March 4, 2023 in CCF Main.

The next generation isn’t a problem to solve; they’re an opportunity. This is a value that we hold near and dear at World Vision and it’s why we had to jump in on investing in the Open Generation research. We believe in the Church’s potential to come alongside the next generation in a radical way, centering their voices, ideas, and potential.

Together with its launch partners, Barna Group, Alpha, Biblica, Association of Christian Schools International, Christian Vision, Global Leadership Network, Christian Influencers United PH, World Vision puts its faith in the incredible potential of the Open Generation.

Willis Towers Watson donates to DepEd’s Gulayan sa Paaralan Project in Cebu

Willis Towers Watson donates Php 100,000 to support the Department of Education’s Gulayan sa Paaralan Project in three World Vision-assisted public elementary and secondary schools in Cebu. The donation was made possible through the company’s Walk for Hope Steps Challenge, an employee fundraising event from December 7 to 21, 2022.

Through this donation, Willis Towers Watson, DepEd, and World Vision hope to construct and cultivate school gardens that serve as accessible sources of vegetables for the schools’ supplementary feeding programs. Aside from

increasing the production and consumption of fruits and vegetables in schools, the Gulayan sa Paaralan Project promotes the economic and nutritional benefits of community gardens to children, parents, and the community.

The donation help the schools acquire seeds, fertilizers, garden tools, and electric water pumps.
