Aguasal, by famous Chef and Founder and Chief Feeding Officer of World Central Kitchen José Andrés, is derived from agua salada, which is the Spanish term for saltwater. The name reflects the spirit of the ocean and transports you from Miami to Mallorca and Mykonos. During the day, Aguasal serves coastal fare with lovely water views, and during the evening it transforms into a gleaming escape inside the beautiful Andaz Miami Beach waterfront resort on Mid-Miami Beach.
Our dinner appetizers were Pink Gulf Shrimp with shaved garlic, and olive oil; and Beef Tartare with tartar sauce, quail egg, micro herbs, and romaine leaves. The Fried Cobia with lemon-butter sauce, dill, braised fennel, and trout roe; and Hanger Steak with Marash rub, Cypriot potatoes, and charred cherry tomatoes were delectable entrées. For desserts, we enjoyed the Saffron Arroz Con Leche with citrus, caramelized attiki honey, and lemon sorbet; and the Chocolate Cake with yogurt cream, candied orange, and ras el hanout ice cream.
Daniel’s Miami redefines fine dining in the former Fiola Miami space, bringing European-style hospitality and exquisite flavor to Coral Gables. A sister concept to MICHELIN Guide recommended Daniel’s steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale, this new Miami chapter features delightful premium steaks, fresh local seafood, and classic Italian dishes perfectly crafted by Culinary Director Danny Ganem and his team, which you can pair with superb sommelier-selected wines.
For our Miami Spice brunch appetizers, we enjoyed a very fresh Cobia Ceviche with leche de tigre, habanero, and crispy chickpeas; and tasty Wagyu Beef Empanadas with spicy sriracha aioli. The entrées were Cage Free Eggs Benedict with 900-day aged prosciutto, hollandaise, arugula, and English muffins; and Steak & Eggs with prime hanger steak, rosemary, and peppercorn sauce sunny side up egg. The Florida Royal Red Shrimp & Grits with Anson Mills grits, bell peppers scallions, and country ham gravy was also very appealing. For dessert, diners can choose soft serve vanilla ice cream, lemon sorbet, soft serve chocolate ice cream, or mango sorbet.

Attention all food lovers: Miami Spice 2025 is in full swing. This year promises to be more delectable, dynamic, and extensive than ever. From August 1 through September 30, more than 300 restaurants across Greater Miami and Miami Beach are rolling out exclusive three-course menus at unbeatable prices. Lunch and brunch are just $35, while dinner ranges from $45 to $60, meaning we can savor MICHELIN-starred creations, hidden neighborhood gems, and sizzling new openings at a fraction of the usual cost. Visit ilovemiamispice.com to review the menus being offered by each participating restaurant.

And of course, no Miami food extravaganza is complete without some enjoyable libations: enjoy your dining experiences sipping the signature Mexica Tequila Margarita Spice cocktail infused with garden-fresh lemongrass, or sponsor wines Whispering Angel Rosé and Terrazas de los Andes.
So, grab your loved ones, family, friends, and appetite, and maybe a Blacklane ride (the official 2025 Spice transportation partner and special promo code Spice25) to eat, sip, and celebrate Miami one delicious bite at a time.
