WIN SPEAKS Winchester students share their happiness and pride about the commendable feat by UAE. I genuinely believe the Emirates Mars Mission (Hope Probe) activated the role of women as an essential partner in building the country’s future and as the main building block of society. Hope Probe set a remarkable standard for the inclusion of women, which challenged the global conventions on women’s participation and contribution in the space sector. Hope Probe’s science team compromised of 80% of women and it sets a great example for women and girls that their influence in scientific fields IS needed and appreciated. Hope Probe presents an aspiring vision for future space exploration and instils ambition within women and girls to follow their dreams. Sophia Pogorelova, Year 12
With the successful insertion of the Hope probe into the orbit of the Red planet, Mars, the UAE has proven beyond doubt that there exists no frontier in the world and beyond that cannot be conquered by the UAE.
