Type Guidelines Type guidelines are provided so they can be used by designers and producers who would lay out the magazine in the future. By providing specific information we prevent deviation and ensure consistency throughout the design of the magazine. In the end Century Gothic was used as the body copy and supporting typeface, as this face was consistent with the features found in my Nette Display Typeface. A point size of 10.35 for the articles and 8.22 for the listings was used. To ensure synergy between the content layouts and the listings layouts, I created the grids and margins for both, and sent Sarah a copy of the one for the content pages, so that she could work form that. This was the safest way of ensuring consistency throughout the magazine.
