TWO LABS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!

Meet Bodhi and his new buddy, Maverick

Hello! My name is Phoebe, and I have a 2½-year-old chocolate Labrador retriever named Bodhi. He is what you would call a quarantine puppy because he was born during the first year of COVID-19. Some of Bodhi’s favorite things to do are to play with squeaky toys, go on long walks around Pin Oak Park and Chatham Green Circle, swim in our pool and eat my mom’s favorite shoes. Bodhi will do almost anything to get a treat! This especially helped when he went to doggy training this summer, or as I like to call it, “Doggy Boot Camp.” He came back so well-trained. My whole family thinks that he’s such a good boy. So good that we thought he deserved a special surprise! What should have been a regular day of playing with toys and long walks became the day we got Bodhi a best friend! This summer, Maverick, a 9-weekold silver Lab, became the newest member of the Monas family. Bodhi and Maverick love all the same things: toys, walks and lots of treats! Soon enough, Maverick will learn how to swim, too. I’m so happy that they get along so well. Because what’s better than having one Lab? Having two!
