Have you ever been to Florida in December? My family and I were just there. We flew to Kissimmee, FL, last week. The temperatures were in the 80s, which was much nicer than Virginia’s temps of 30-40 degrees. My younger brother was invited to play football in a national tournament, so we all enjoyed the fun that traveling to Florida could bring ... like going to DISNEY! We went to Magic Kingdom on our first day and had so much fun! I got to choose all the rides because my birthday was the day before. I took full advantage of my day because I knew the rest of the time would consist of all things football!

Once we finished with Disney and a fun birthday dinner at Disney Springs, it was tournament time. My brother and his team checked in, played against three top teams, and ended up winning third place out of the top eight teams in the nation! After their victory game, it was time for fun! We went to a small adventure park with his team, swam in the pool for hours, went to lunch with my GiGi (grandmother) and managed to squeeze in our school work too!

It was a great quick trip, and I can’t wait until my next warm adventure!
