TREE TRIMMING ON WILLOWSFORD LANE

Did you know that the Willowsford Conservancy offices are now located in the Willowsford Boat House on Willowsford Lane? This is the second year they have welcomed residents to their new location with a treetrimming party, and they hope to make it a tradition! This year it was set up as a drop-by event on a Thursday evening.

The room was full of cheer, and there were many perks to attending. This year there were paper chains ready to stick and assemble, wood snowflakes to decorate and pine cones to sparkle up with pom poms and yarn. Kids could hang up their creations on the tree as they finished them!

There were many dessert delights too, such as cookies, cocoa, apple cider and chocolate cookie straws. The fresh-cut tree was shimmering by the end of the night, and the Boat House was ready for the holiday season!
