Substantial refurbishment/extension of the existing buildings to maximise the net useable space This option reuses the existing building with internal modifications to adopt new cores and lightwells and with 2 or 3 new lightweight floors added to the roof and new replacement elevations to the existing frame. This option also considers a ‘hybrid’ of retained building with an element of new build to the north.
