 The Partnership for Haddonfield Professional Committee holds Breakfast Networking Events on the first Friday of each month from 8 to 9am, at Jersey Java & Tea (140 Haddon Avenue). The next event will be held on Feb 3. Professionals, retailers, service business owners, and support staff may attend. Leave your business card and you could win a free Web page on haddonfield professionals. org. Town-wide gift certificates are sold – at a 10percent discount – during these events.

 The Haddonfield Alumni Society trustees volunteer their time to serve the interests of former High School students. The society needs financial support from the community in order to continue to provide scholarships, happy hours, newsletters, Lifetime Achievement Awards, meetings, e-mail contacts, databases, the Homecoming Hospitality Tent, and much more.  Brandywine Senior Living at Haddonfield (132 Warwick Road) will host a Lifelong Learning event on Fri Jan 27. Guests will learn how to pair wines and craft beers with foods for stunning results. For more information, or to RSVP, call 4295500 by Mon Jan 23.

 If you’re retired, semi-retired, or a stayat-home that enjoys singing, consider joining the Singing Angels. The Angels are seeking new members (especially males) to sing at nursing, assisted living, and retirement homes, and for AARP/ senior groups. The choir rehearses on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month (Sep thru Jun) at the Lutheran Church – located at 204 Wayne Ave, Haddonfield – at 10am.  The Women of the Baptist Church will serve up hearty portions of TLC on Fri Feb 3 when they hold their annual Vegetable Beef Soup Luncheon. The event will be held from 11am to 2pm at the Church. The $10 admission fee will cover a bowl of soup, rolls and butter, beverages, and homemade desserts. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Kids under 12 will be admitted for free.
