Westminster Village was built in 1988 by a group of friends and neighbors who envisioned a community where people could continue their accustomed lifestyles and be assured quality care This year’s Gala celebration, Giving From the Heart, contributes to this vision by directing donations to the remodeling of the Weyrich Health Care Center

Protecting your health is always a top priority, but for older adults, the fall season brings with it a few specific to dos you’ll want to add to your list. Check out five things that older adults can do to stay healthier and feel better this fall.

Jazz at Westminster Returns for 2022-23 Season

Jazz is returning to Westminster Village, and an incredible 2022 23 season is underway. Since its inception in 2019, 18 monthly concerts have been produced. The heart of Jazz at Westminster is our residents, who drive the programming and provide feedback at each season’s end. Lew Shaw, co-producer of the Jazz at Westminster series, is thrilled to bring in top local artists as well as many who are known internationally.

“Music has therapeutic value,” he adds. “The series last year was such an uplift for the people here. People love it.”

The current season opened in September with fan favorite Nicole Pesce; she’ll also close the series in April performing music by Cole Porter. Next up in October is Adrian Cunningham, a saxophone player from Australia.
