As Scottsdale’s only non-profit continuous care retirement community (CCRC), Westminster Village offers secure, inviting, and inspired living on a lushly landscaped 16-acre campus. Unified by the healing beauty of nature, Westminster Village was designed and built as a resort-style retreat that enhances the independence, dignity, health, and wellbeing of all who call it home. Residents pay a one-time entrance fee and ongoing monthly service fee in return for lifetime occupancy and care. Built in harmony with its natural surroundings, the community includes a mix of independent living apartments and assisted living units. Our newly remodeled Weyrich Health Care Center is supervised by licensed nurses 24 hours a day.
With its friendly pet park, heated lap pool, walking courtyards, onsite observatory, four dining venues, koi ponds and butterfly gardens, Westminster Village is an elevated environment and welcoming neighborhood where new residents quickly become old friends, and all enjoy a balance of active lifestyle programs, services, and care.

Discover the array of personalized services covered by our monthly service fee. Our amenities and services are thoughtfully designed to promote community and connections, providing a maintenance-free and stress-free lifestyle within a vibrant and active independent living community.
Monthly Resort Credit
In addition to the outlined services, your monthly service fee provides a resort credit based on your selected apartment model. This monthly credit can be customized to enhance various aspects of your living experience, including supplementary services such as dining in our venues, housekeeping, home health services, payment towards your communication bundle, and other fee-based options within our community.
Potential Tax Benefit
Uncover an extra benefit for residents mindful of taxes – an income tax deduction for the fees paid pursuant to a Life Care Contract. Residents in our community may qualify for an itemized medical expense deduction on their federal income tax return. This deduction encompasses the portion of the entrance fee and monthly service fees related to medical costs as calculated by our partner CPA firm using guidance from IRS revenue rulings and tax court decisions. Please note that the IRS can challenge this calculation if audited. For the 2023 calendar year, $2,020 per person per month of residence and up to $69,317 per apartment for those that paid entrance fees during the year was calculated and identified as deductible medical expense. Each resident should consult his/her tax advisor regarding the tax treatment of the deduction and any subsequent refund.
