This chicken marinade is so delicious, you can eat it on its own. Full of flavor, the sweet and savory of this chicken is the perfect protein for any meal.
Ingredients:
2 lbs baby chicken
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp Mon Appetit Aromatic Citrus Ginger Spice
Blend, or Shawarma spice
1/4 mayonnaise
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. Mix well and let chicken marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
2. Preheat oven to 350°.
3. Heat up a large grill pan over high heat.
4. Grill each cutlet for 3 minutes per side, or until nice char marks appear.
5. Place grilled chicken in a 9x13 pan. Cover tightly and bake for 20 minutes.
Zucchini is one of my favorite vegetables to roast. This version is easy to throw together and ready in no time.
Ingredients:
4 zucchinis, cut into half circles
1 shallot, thinly sliced
1/2 tbsp Mon Appetit Robust BBQ Spice Blend
1/2 tbsp Mon Appetit Cedar Plank Spice Blend
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°.
2. Combine all ingredients on a sheet pan.
3. Mix well and bake for 15 minutes. Broil an addition 5 minutes.
A simple, yet delicious side dish, this couscous comes together easily and pairs well with so many different flavors.
Ingredients:
1 small onion, finely diced
2 tbsp oil
1 bag pearl couscous
2 cups hot water
2 tsp kosher salt
1 tbsp Mon Appetit Harvest Blend
Directions:
1. Heat a small pot over a medium-low heat. Add diced onions and oil and sauté until golden.
2. Once onions are golden, add couscous and toast for a couple of minutes, stirring frequently.
3. Add remaining ingredients and cover pot.
4. Bring to a boil. Lower the flame and cook covered for 10-12 minutes.
