Rok Suhodolnik, SIP ambassador, Slovenia Spodnji Jerovčnik Farm is located in the Upper Savinja Valley, in a hilly area of solitary farms above the village of Luče. The farm is mainly engaged in animal husbandry. In recent years, Angus cattle and sheep of the autochthonous Jezersko-Solčava breed have been bred on 30 hectares of arable land, which are mostly intact pastures and meadows. They are aware that the selection of machines for mowing and hay harvesting is of key importance in providing quality fodder, so they use innovative SIP systems on the farm. “I come from a high-altitude farm, where the terrain is steep and demanding. We used SIP machines on our farm in the past. We are satisfied with them; they are of high quality and suitable for our hilly region. in Slobodnica (Slavonski Brod) has also been engaged in the production of alfalfa agro pellets for cattle feeding.
