To reduce the manual effort required to close NCTS Cases during a large outbreak, the following automations are being put into the system:

Automatically closing Case Follow-Up when the predicted isolation end date has been reached. Automatically moving a COVID Contact Tracing Case through the pathway to the ‘Closed’ status. For those in Self-Management this will automatically close the Border Health Record (BHR). For those in Active Management the Border Health Record will remain open until clinically released in CCCM, at which point they also automatically close.
This means Hub Teams with NCTS access are no longer be required to complete the Bulk Release process for Cases following Clinical Release from the CCCM.
