A

new hair salon has arrived in Falmouth based at 64 Killigrew Street. Dax Hair is the brainchild of Stacey and Chelsea Sharrinton-Jenkins. Previously they owned and ran a London based hairdressing franchise in the heart of Falmouth.

The salon was a huge success and won numerous awards, but they decided there was more to life than running a big salon and opted for a change of pace. This is where Dax was born!

Stacey has been hairdressing for 16 years having trained with one of the most prestigious hairdressing companies on the planet. Aged just 23, she went off on her own and opened a successful

Highly skilled duo bring colour and style to Falmouth independent salon in Truro called Castle Rooms. When she met Chelsea, she sold the salon to a member of her team and teamed up with Chelsea. Stacey came 5th in the L’Oréal colour trophy Southwest finals, beating off competition all the way from Cornwall to Bournemouth. Stacey is passionate about customer service and has won numerous customer service awards across her salons. She specialises in cutting only in salon and is extremely knowledgeable in all areas.

Chelsea is a colour supremo. Having been in the hairdressing industry for 14 years, she started her career in the same prestigious hairdressing company as Stacey. In her time with the company Chelsea gained recognition for her colouring talents, by being chosen as one of four talented and gifted colour technicians across the whole country to be part of a scholarship programme.

During her time in the programme, which lasted a year, Chelsea attended the L’Oréal academy in Paris and eventually won the end of year show for her colouring abilities. Along with Stacey she ran the extremely successful

franchise in Falmouth and was jointly responsible for the numerous awards won in the salon. Chelsea specialises in colour and there isn’t much she doesn’t know.

Dax is the beginning of an exciting journey for the pair, especially as it is the brainchild of both of them. The salon logo and name are inspired by their two miniature dachshunds Pépé and Romeo.
