Volume 30, Issue 1 This year marks the 80th Anniversary of the US Social Security program. Did you know that Social Security is one of the most popular and successful government programs in US history? For 80 years, Social Security has benefited every individual who has paid into it upon reaching retirement age. It has radically reduced poverty in old age and some seniors rely completely on Social Security as their form of income. Social Security reform has become a major part of the 2016 Presidential campaign. Make sure you keep informed of the prospective changes and how they may affect you.
