Jewish Enrichment Center

Talmud Study Group

The Jewish Enrichment Center (JEC) is a new Jewish education provider for the Greater Phoenix community. Its goal is to unite fellow Jews through shared joy in exploration of Jewish tradition, its classical texts and its timeless ideas, in a friendly, upbeat, non-judgmental environment.

Monthly: 2nd & 4th Wednesdays | 7 pm in Rabbi Bisman’s Study Open to all. Wonderful class discussions arising from participants’ questions and comments make for a fun and stimulating evening, led by Rabbi Bisman. The source for many blessings and ritual practices we use in our daily lives is found in the Talmud in the section (Masekhet) Berachot (blessings). There are also many interesting stories and ideas interspersed among the Talmudic discussion. The text we use has both English and Hebrew/Aramaic. No prior knowledge is required. To enroll, contact the Rabbi at rabbibisman@ harzion.org or 480.991.0720.
