The Parenting Place Kickoff Grand Opening: January 9 | Noon - 2 pm We are pleased to announce the opening of our new Parenting Place. We offer workshops, educational and safety programs and a new parenting lounge to connect and schmooze with other parents while your children play. Hang out at Club J after school and learn how to cook, shoot baskets, do arts and crafts and meet new friends! At Club J, your child will have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of daily activities and receive homework help. Kosher, nutritious snacks are always on hand. In Club J, we understand that children need the opportunity to learn and grow in a kid-friendly environment that is both safe and fun. We are committed to providing just that. Club J participants have the opportunity to build the schedule that works for them by selecting from a variety of enrichment programming offered. Children in grades K- 5 are not allowed to be in the JCC unsupervised and must be registered for Club J, in enrichment classes or other after school programming.

Master Chefs

After School Youth Lounge Grades 6 - 8

Many middle school kids hang out after school at the J. We want to make sure they have a fun and safe environment to do homework and meet up with friends. The Youth Lounge located above the Welcome Desk is open to students in grades 6 - 8, for homework and computer use, watching movies and hanging out with friends. Youth will not be permitted to hang out in the JCC outside of the lounge unless they are in a program or are supervised by an adult.

Birthday Parties

Looking for a great place to have your next birthday party? Have it at the JCC! The JCC Youth Department can host your next birthday party with a variety of themes: Arts and Crafts, Sports, Cooking, Pool Activities and many exciting add-ons! Parties start at $250 for 15. Come and Visit Israel Through One of Our Various Programs • MASA Israel Journey connects Jewish young adults ages 18 to 30 through 160 different programs: gap year, study abroad, post-college, and volunteer programs. Masa Israel makes it easier for you to have exciting, life-changing experiences in Israel. All applicants are eligible for grants. • Taglit-Birthright Israel provides a gift to first time peer groups and educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. TaglitBirthright Israel’s founders created this program to strengthen the sense of solidarity among world Jewry, and to strengthen participants’ personal Jewish identity and connection to the Jewish people. A trip of 10 days to Israel is provided by several partners: private philanthropists through The Birthright Israel Foundation; the people of Israel through the Government of Israel; and Jewish communities around the world (North American Jewish Federations, Keren Hayesod and the Jewish Agency for Israel).

•K ibbutz Volunteer - experience working in a Kibbutz, study Hebrew in a Kibbutaz Ulpan and enjoy your time.
