Dorit Fischer Partner/Real Estate Broker
NAI Shames Makovsky
Dorit has been with NAI Shames Makovsky since 2002, representing buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants across office, retail, and industrial properties. Over the past two decades, she has served as a trusted real estate advisor to Denver Health, leading all of their commercial real estate activities, including campus development and long-term strategic planning.
Dorit also works closely with other prominent public-sector clients such as the Denver Housing Authority and Denver Public Schools. Together with her business partner, Hayden Hirschfeld, she supports these organizations in evaluating and optimizing their real estate portfolios. In addition to her work with political subdivisions, Dorit is passionate about supporting local real estate owners and investors throughout Denver, regardless of size or scale.
A licensed real estate broker in Colorado, Dorit is also a part owner of several commercial real estate investments in the Denver metro area. She is a believer in cities, and in Denver in particular. Her practice centers on strategic planning and execution across all asset types, serving public entities, corporations, nonprofits, and individuals. She is known for her creative problem-solving, market expertise, and commitment to building long-term client relationships.

Dorit holds a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomatic History from the University of Pennsylvania. A proud Denver native, she lives in the city with her husband and four children. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, long walks, reading, and giving back to the community through philanthropy.
