Muzeul de Paleontologie şi Stratigrafie Muzeu orăşenesc, cu profil ştiinţele naturii – secţia în aer liber, cuprinde eşantioane mari de roci eruptive, metamorfice şi sedimentare, sub formă de blocuri sau plăci lustruite, coloane impozante şi formaţiuni stalagmitice de peşteră. Se remarcă colecţiile cu resturi de fosile colectate mai ales din bazinul Transilvaniei, printre care câteva resturi de vertebrate mai evoluate din terţiar (Ursus speloeus), colecţia stratigrafică a bazinului Transilvaniei (unică în ţară), colecţia de nevertebrate etc. Adresa: Str. The Paleontology and Stratigraphy Museum The Paleontology and Stratigraphy Museum is a city museum with nature science profile belonging to the BabeşBolyai University. The open air section gathers big samples of eruptive, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, in the shape of blocks and polished tiles, imposing columns and stalagmite cave formations.
