Dear Friends and Clients, In our world of Real Estate, 2019 ended on a very positive note with an increase in both the median price and the number of sales. The month of December was a very busy month for real estate sales and we already see this trend continuing into January. The days on the market were shorter too. This is usually attributed to sellers pricing their properties competitively and buyers feeling good about the value. As we check in with our Economists and those who follow our local Real Estate market their reporting continues to be positive for 2020. At Village Properties, we strive to go above and beyond for our clients. This is why in September we introduced VP Assist - Staging and Home Improvement Services, offering professional staging, high-impact cosmetic renovations, and repairs that are designed to maximize our clients home’s value with no cash out-of-pocket or up-front fees to the client. As of January 1st, 2020, we have now introduced a new unique service that grants peace of mind during our clients real estate transactions. As a part of our VP Assist Program, we now offer Legal Services to our Buyers and Sellers. We give them access to a team of legal professionals throughout the entire escrow process—and even up to a year afterwards, and at no cost to the client. Some of the services offered are legal advice and document review for all non-dis-


pute questions, as well as dispute resolution and lifetime mediation services to resolve any disputes after the close of escrow. This service is offered exclusively to Village Properties clients through Real Estate Risk Management, Inc. and allows them to feel more comfortable during and after the closing of escrow.
