Schneeschuhwandern Wer einmal den Zauber einer verschneiten Winterlandschaft abseits der Trampelpfade erlebt hat, weiß, dass Schneeschuhwandern weit mehr ist, als querfeldein durch kaltes Weiß zu stapfen: Das gleichmäßige Knirschen unter den tennisschlägerartigen Schneeschuhen lässt die Gedanken des Alltags ruhen und das Gefühl, weit weg von allem zu sein, stellt sich ein. Langlaufen Rund um Kitzbühel, im Brixental, um die Hohe Salve und den Wilden Kaiser erstrecken sich über 600 km bestens präparierte und schneesichere Loipen. Dank der weiten Täler ist in der Region Kitzbüheler Alpen Langlaufen mit herrlichem Weitblick und meist ohne schwierige Steigungen möglich. Rodeln Die spektakuläre Naturrodelbahn am Gaisberg hat sich zum Publikumsmagneten entwickelt! Ein 4er-Sessellift bringt die Gäste bequem direkt zum Start. Die fünf Kilometer lange Strecke ist für das Nachtrodeln beleuchtet.

Cross-country Cross-country skiers will find 600 km of wellmaintained, guaranteed-snow tracks around Kitzbühel, in Brixental valley, and around the Hohe Salve and Wilder Kaiser mountains. The broad valleys around the Kitzbühel Alps make for wonderful cross-country skiing experiences with fantastic panorama views and no difficult ascents. Sledding and tobogganing The natural toboggan run on Gaisberg mountain is a real crowd puller. A 4-seater chair lift takes sled and toboggan riders directly to the start. The five kilometre track is also illuminated for nighttime runs.
