It is a great enabler because it develops people's skills and prepares them to have a fulfilling career, which helps both the individual and society's socioeconomic well-being. Unfortunately, millions of children in India still lack access to education today
It is more important, now than ever, for varied stakeholders to join hands to spread awareness and have elaborative solutions to help address the problem of illiteracy As responsible citizens of this nation, we must make sure that people, especially employers, are aware of the negative effects of child labor and refuse to engage in it. This will deter child traffickers and parents from practicing this immoral activity - making communities aware of their rights and urging them to be supportive of the rural education in India Communities with higher levels of education will not only nurture better citizens but also greater business opportunities.
Girls are considerably lagging behind boys in terms of academic achievements. This situation has deteriorated due to the patriarchal mentality that is prevalent in many Indian households. The stereotype of girls as future housewives and caregivers is common. They frequently don't have access to higher education, or in some cases, even to elementary education. Education gives women the chance to become skilled employees for whom education is instrumental in improving
the future of their families and communities. It's crucial to educate girls in order to combat unfair social ills like child marriage, trafficking, and other forms of child abuse.
The Shiv Nadar Foundation's VidyaGyan initiative was founded to identify and nurture deserving and bright students from economically backward rural areas and develop them into future leaders via an excellent education system. VidyaGyan is dedicated to sustainable development in India, providing free residential education for students in grades VI through XII.
