President Uhuru Kenyatta named UN Young People’s Agenda global champion
The following is a summary of the powerful and important address given by President Maduro We have been called to work on and address a vital issue that has been titled "Making the UN relevant to all", a noble and high goal. We are sure that the 21st century will set the tone for processes of human and political liberation, for the liberation of people that will have important impacts on the future of the UN. Venezuela today comes to tell its truth (...), I bring the voice of a country that has refused to surrender throughout history to injustice and to empires. I bring the voice of the people who have the honor of being the cradle of the great liberator Simón Bolívar. Venezuela is a cradle and at the same time a school of republican values. The US president of North America once attacked the noble people of Venezuela, flying the doctrine that 200 years ago founded the United States empire. Venezuela is the victim of permanent aggression in the economic, political, diplomatic, and media aspects by those who govern the United States of North America They fly the Monroe Doctrine to justify from the ideological, political and diplomatic point of view the aggression against our beloved homeland. Economically, Venezuela has been subjected to a series of illegal, unilateral measures of economic persecution in the last two years (...), we have been prevented from using the dollar as an international currency.
