Venezuelan authorities determined that each drone used in the attack against Nicolas Maduro was charged with one kilogram of C4.

Interior Minister, Nestor Luis Reverol, informed that one of

the drones flew over the Presidential tribune, but the detonator didn’t activate because the inhibitor equipment managed to disorient the machine.

The investigation is still ongoing.

So far there are six people detained which will be accused for betrayal to the homeland, aggravated intentional frustrated homicide, terrorism, criminal association, frustrated homicide with severe lessions and throwing an explosive device in public meeting.

Authorities precised foreign links

Venezuelan authorities established the international connections of the terrorist group who attempted to assassinate President Nicolas Maduro, Attorney General Tarek William Saab, confirmed on Monday.

The Attorney warned that the attack not only intended to kill President Nicolás Maduro, but they also wanted to assassinate all the Military High Staff and the Heads of the government’s institutions that were in the Presidential tribune.

According to the first phase of the investigation the group which assumed the attack is related to powerful sectors in Colombia and the United States.

Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, directly accused Juan Manuel Santos of ordering his assassination. This was denied by Bogota which allegates that the Colombian Head was attending family matters at the moment of the attack.

UN rejected violent acts in Venezuela Secretary General for the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, condemned on Monday violent acts registered on Saturday in Venezuela when they tried to kill President Nicolas Maduro.

In a short message, the spokesperson for the UN, Farhan Haq, presented the position of Guterres.

“The Secretary General is worried due to the latests events in Venezuela and rejects all violent acts” the spokesperson stated.

The Venezuelan government also received China’s backup on Monday, who is opposed to all violent and extreme actions.

“China is against all extreme and violent acts and supports the efforts made by Venezuela to reach peace, stability and development of the country” Minister of Foregin Relations for China expressed.

Santos predicted attack against Maduro

The venezuelan government denounced on Monday that Colombian President, Juan Manuel Santos, predicted the attack executed against Nicolas Maduro.

In an offcial statement, Venezuela described the words manifested by Santos as the chronicle of a foretold assassination, paraphrasing Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez.

One week ago, President Juan Manuel Santos predicted once again, a the near collapse of his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolás Maduro, and didn’t offer arguments to sustain his opinión.

Venezuela rejected the evident and permanent aggressions fostered by Santos, who does not deny his links with ultra conservative political sectors which are against Maduro.

The President of the National Constituent Assembly, Diosdado Cabello, revealed on Monday that the six people detained after the attack against President Nicolas Maduro were giving all the details of the plan.

Cabello affirmed in a march in support for Maduro in Caracas, that the detainees are revealing where they were trained, how they obtained the drones, who facilitated the cars, amongst other details.

Cabello qualified the attack to the Venezuelan President as a frustrated attempt to assassinate Nicolas Maduro.

The President of the National Constituent Assembly warned that the attack not only intended to kill the President, they also wanted to aniquílate all the Heads of the public powers.

Thousands of Venezuelans narched on Monday in Caracas to reject this Saturday’s attacks that left seven military officers wounded.
