APRIL ADVENTURE CAMP

Need care when school is out for Spring Break? ECC is the place! Your child will participate in age appropriate activities like arts and crafts, gym time, games, free play or on site special events, including a visit from the animals of the Children’s Museum where campers will learn wildlife adaptation and habitat. Camp will also include daily outside play to add to your campers experience (Weather permitting). This camp is the perfect way to spend an exciting April vacation at ECC! Instructor: ECC Staff.

BUSY BEES APRIL VACATION

Ages 3 – 5 • 9:00A – 3:30P LOCATION: ELMWOOD COMMUNITY CENTER

Keep your busy little bees active with a spring vacation camp! Come learn and play with us in a fun, friendly and interactive setting. Each day will offer an assortment of activities including arts and crafts, outside play, songs, stories, free play, water play and so much more. Campers will rest/ nap after lunch each day, so please pack a blanket or stuff animal as well as a peanut-free lunch. (All children must be toilet trained by the first class). Instructor: ECC Staff

BASEBALL TRAINING CAMP

Age 6 - 12 • 9:00A – 12:00P LOCATION: CONARD HIGH SCHOOL

Your child will be provided with the fundamentals, rules and other aspects of baseball. Proper techniques in throwing, hitting, base running and fielding will be taught. Players will engage in simulated baseball situations with one on one instruction from highly skilled instructors. Players will showcase their skills in competition game play at the conclusion of the camp. Appropriate sportsmanship will be modeled and required from all participants. Players should come prepared with a glove, cleats and a snack. Please dress according to the weather (no shorts). In the event of inclement weather, camp will be held at a different location to be determined. The instructor will notify participants by 8:00 a.m. Instructor: David Volpe & Staff.

GOLF BEGINNER ACADEMY

Age 9 - 14 • 9:30A – 11:30A LOCATION: ROCKLEDGE GOLF CLUB

A program for golfers at the beginner level. Golf instruction as well as golf rules and etiquette will be included in the camp. In case of heavy rain, or any questions, please call Rockledge Golf Club at 860-561-8282. Instructor: Rockledge Staff.

OLD SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Age 5 - 14 • 9:00A – 12:00P LOCATION: SEDGWICK SCHOOL

This old school physical education camp, led by West Hartford Physical Education teachers, focuses on activities at the elementary and middle school level. Games and activities will be used to educate through competition, adversity and problem solving. No sport specific emphasis. We will be out of the box in everything we do with the campers. TENNIS FPTA VACATION CAMP

Age 8 - 14 • 1:00P – 4:00P LOCATION: HALL HIGH SCHOOL

This program offers campers a combined emphasis on instruction and modified matchplay. Campers should come prepared with a racquet, hat, water, snacks and sunscreen. In case of rain, camp will be moved indoors. Instructor: Fern Park Tennis Association.

WESTMOOR PARK PRESCHOOL ADVENTURES

Designed for children in preschool & kindergarten. Explore the mysteries of the natural world through hikes, stories, games and crafts. Meet our farm animals, and spend time learning how to take care of them. Children will use their five senses to discover the secrets of nature in this outdoor program.
