After a thorough deliberation for graduates, the Elementary School, Junior High School (JHS), Higher Education (College and School of Graduate Studies), and Senior High School (SHS) conducted the ceremonies on June 9, June 10, June 18, and June 24, 2022, respectively.

Moreover, Baccalaureate masses, presided over by the University President, Rev. Fr. Renillo H. Sta. Ana, CICM, were conducted before the graduation and completion exercises. Fr. Sta. Ana highlighted in his homilies at the Good Shepherd Chapel that graduation is not just the celebration of the day of the brains but also the celebration of the works of the hearts.
CAPABLE Louisian graduates owned the stage first, gracing 78 pupils - 37 boys, 37 girls, and four from the Dinggin Ka Learning Center (DKLC). Followed by Louisian TALAs with 451 completers; 416 from the Science section, and 35 from the Advance Science section. Batch 2022 was the pioneer of the stated sectioning.
Due to a large number of Higher Education graduates, the Batch was divided into two for the morning and afternoon ceremonies. USL honored 667 undergraduate students and 46 graduate students. The 667 graduates were the pioneers of the K-12 curriculum of the Department of Education (DepEd).
Meanwhile, eight hundred twentytwo (822) graduated from the University’s Senior High School. Louisian GEMs turned emotional when the valedictorian, Cesar Paul
T. Quilang, spoke in front, sharing the batch’s experiences.
“It is a great honor to be able to finally graduate on the actual stage after years of watching our academic life solely unfolding in front of our computer screen. We are the first-ever batch to have our entire senior high journey online. With these, we still manage to stay flexible and adaptable. We managed to stay stronger, and we made it this far with our effort,” Mr. Quilang said.
“Soar High, Senior High,” Mr. Quilang ended.
It should be remembered that USL was the first University in the region to conduct face-to-face graduation in the ‘now normal’ that was also streamed via Facebook. It also reached big media attention, such as GMA News, Philippine Star, Rappler, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Manila Bulletin and others.
Congratulations, Batch 2022! USLWB
