The guidance team commenced the annual Project HOPE (Holistic Outreach Program for the Empowerment of Adult Learners) to parents at Sitio Cannaman, San Antonio, Enrile on December 17, 2022.

This three-session parenting seminar series will be conducted through lectures, discussions, and workshops on the parenting topics identified. The first two sessions were conducted in a focused-group discussion (FGD) style.

The Project HOPE is an annual outreach endeavor of the Guidance and Counseling Center of the University that aims to provide assistance to the observable needs of adult learners in the community. This is also aligned with the focal advocacy of non-teaching personnel at the university, which is adult education, gender, and development.

With the perceived parenting needs of Sitio Cannaman, the following are aimed to be achieved after the activity: equip parents in the community with knowledge on childrearing, child growth, and development; provide family management abilities; create new attitudes and behaviors that can assist parents in their parental roles inside and outside their homes.
