USL celebrates Fr. Sta. Ana’s 30th sacerdotal anniversary
University of Saint Louis held a celebration for the 30th Sacerdotal Anniversary of its University President, Rev. Fr. Renillo H. Sta. Ana, CICM, on May 8, 2022, at USL’s Friendship Park with the theme “Celebrating Jesus, the Pearl of Great Price.”

The celebration was kicked-off with a thanksgiving mass presided over by Fr. Sta. Ana himself and was joined by Archbishop Ricardo L. Baccay, D.D., Archdiocese of Tuguegarao; Rev. Fr. Hirohito Bolo Jr., CICM, Provincial Superior of the Philippines; Rev. Fr. Rene Cabag, CICM; Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales,
CICM; Rev. Fr. Fernold G. Denna, CICM; Rev. Fr. Ronaldo Benueza, CICM; Rev. Fr. Bong Aquino, CICM; Rev. Fr. Emanuel Enjang Pranatal, CICM; Rev. Fr. Maurice L. Galasa, CICM; Rev. Fr. Alberto I. Tamisen, CICM; and Rev. Fr. Dennis Jake T. Ordillos Jr., Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao.
After the thanksgiving mass, everyone gathered at the friendship park for the program proper. The Louisian Community delivered messages of gratitude and presented intermission numbers. Also, among those in attendance were the Louisian retirees.
Dr. Rina M. Reyes, Vice President for Administration, extended a warm greeting to all who attended Fr. Sta. Ana’s sacerdotal anniversary while Dr. Emmanuel James P. Pattaguan, Vice President for Academics, shared the journey of Fr. Sta. Ana: his life and mission. Guests and visitors also gave gifts as Louisian employees sang various melodious songs. USLWB
University of Saint Louis celebrated its 20th anniversary since the Commission on Higher Education granted the school its university status.
Through a thanksgiving mass, the Louisian community joined together at the Good Shepherd Chapel and in a simultaneous livestream on the university’s Facebook page on May 20, 2022.

In his homily, Rev. Fr. Renillo H. Sta. Ana, CICM, the University President, likened USL to a mother.
“As a mother, I believe she is able to continue to provide for all of us. Whatever we need for life and our work, the University has tried its best to provide so many things for all of us despite the many difficulties. We should be proud that we have the University of Saint Louis,” Fr. Sta. Ana said.
Fr. Sta. Ana also shared that USL has made numerous sacrifices over many years to achieve its goal and be an instrument of tremendous service to countless people and families and further he recognized the support given by the people behind the success of its graduates.
