K & T scholarship sponsors visit USL

Mr. Koen Rommens of K & T Scholarship from Scheut, Belgium, together with his wife Teresa Javier Rommens, alumna of the University, paid a visit to USL on July 27, 2022.

They met with the school officials: Rev. Fr. Renillo H. Sta. Ana, CICM, University President; Dr. Rina M. Reyes, Vice President for Administration; Dr. Celso L. Tuddao, Vice President for Finance; and Mr. Aldwin D. Tuliao, Scholarships Coordinator, to discuss concerns on the K&T Scholarship.

Mr. and Mrs. Rommens delivered an uplifting message to the scholars as it was their first time to meet them in person. In like manner, the scholars expressed their gratitude to the benefactors as they shared their university experiences and how the scholarship greatly helped them.

The K & T Scholarship Program aims to provide full financial aid to economically underprivileged but deserving (academically capable) students who wish to study in high school and college levels and be enrolled at the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao, Philippines.

Students from Cordillera and remote barrios of Cagayan municipalities are given preference. The scholarship covers school fees such as tuition, miscellaneous fees, and student fees from the time they enter their programs until they graduate.
