The school’s status is valid until May 2023.

By maintaining a quality standard of Catholic education, the JHS department received a three-clean slate Level II accreditation status. Its last resurvey visit was on February 1-2, 2018.

Level III status is the highest accreditation level granted to basic education programs, while Level IV status is the highest for higher and graduate education programs.

FAAP, established in 1977, is an umbrella organization of three accrediting agencies: Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities-Accrediting Agency, Inc. (ASCU-AAI); Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA); and PAASCU.

The organization is authorized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Department of Education (DepEd) to certify the decisions of the three accrediting agencies in granting progressive deregulation and other benefits. USLWB

Dr. Emmanuel James P. Pattaguan, USL’s VP for Academics, Dr. Joffrey M. Calimag, and Dr. Maria Victoria Rosas from the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business Education (PCDEB) shared their knowledge and expertise on the topics under the theme, “Breaking Barriers during the Pandemic towards a Deeper Appreciation of the Latest Development in Business.”

The research area of the Senior High School also conducted the 2nd National Senior High School Research Congress, on May 24, 2022, via Zoom.

The activity brought together senior high school students and teachers from schools around the Cagayan Valley Region and throughout the country, which allowed participants to exchange and learn from each other’s research work.

USL organized the activity held under the theme “RISE and SERVE on Forging Instruction, Research, and Engagement.” USLWB
